Colsac III - Free Ferry The Colsac III is a small free ferry that crosses the Wisconsin River connecting WIS 113 at the town of Merrimac. The ferry holds about 12 cars and the crossing takes less then 10 minutes. While waiting for the ferry, I had an ice cream cone from a snack stand. Once on the ferry, I got some great photos of the Wisconsin River and did a little conversing with other travelers.
