Other long, straight roads: I located a section of Route 412, running between Hardesty, OK and a spot just east of Slapout, OK in the Oklahoma Panhandle, which clocks in at 65.6 miles of straight road. This road is a continuation (on the west side of Guymon, OK) of the same route running 47.6 miles dead straight to Boise City, OK. (A virtual viewing of these roads on Google Earth confirms they are both razor's-edge straight.)
Both of these are substantially longer than the 35-mile section of I-80 across the Bonneville Salt Flats.
