Spring Valley, Wisconsin: Crystal Cave

Discovered in 1881 by farm kids, made into a commercial cave in 1941. Features limestone formations on two levels -- it's the longest cave in Wisconsin. 1 hour tour.

Directions:
I-94 Exit 19 (Ellsworth), south onto US Hwy 63, 7 miles south. Follow signs directing you to turn left (east) towards Spring Valley and Cave, 6 miles, on the right.

Mem-Labor Day 9:30 am - 5:30 pm, Apr-May wknds 10 am - 4 pm, Sep-Oct 10-4:30 pm (Call to verify)
