13-foot-high "Male Torso," sans arms, legs, and head -- with a tiny modesty leaf -- is a 1992 sculpture by Colombian artist Fernando Botero. Disappeared in 2016; reappeared in its current spot in 2018.

[O B, 12/22/2022]We searched for two hours for this sculpture (and got a great foot tour of downtown Miami). Sadly, we finally found the last known location, only to be told it was removed right before Christmas and no current location is known.
[Robin, 08/10/2016]The giant torso has moved again. Due to building construction on the corner of SE 9 and S. Miami Ave., it is now located along Biscayne Blvd along the western edge of Bayfront Park.
