Hilton Sisters Siamese Twins Grave

We looked for a long time for the Hilton sisters' headstone at Forest Lawn only to discover that they do not have their own. Instead, they share a grave marker with a man named Troy M. Thompson, a young man who died in Vietnam. Apparently his father was an acquaintance of the Hilton Sisters in Charlotte and added their names to his son's headstone at the time of their deaths (1969). The burial site is in Section M, row 6 and 2 stones in from the road near the cedar tree.

Hilton Sisters Siamese Twins Grave

I was reading up on the Florida trips for an upcoming road trip and I stumbled upon the "Circus Freak Wintering Town" tip. The RA tidbit mentioned that the "The Siamese twin Hilton sisters ran a fruit stand here".

The Hilton Sisters, Violet and Daisy, are laid to rest in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Charlotte, NC. In a somewhat strange twist of fate the Hilton Sisters ARE NOT the most famous pair of Siamese Twins buried in North Carolina. That title has to go to Chang and Eng Bunker, the "Original Siamese Twins." Chang and Eng are buried up in White Plains, NC.
