Joanne's Bubble Gum Museum

It's a pink shed in the middle of nowhere. This sweet lady will ask you if you're sure you want a tour -- it has no air conditioning! Of course, it's one of our reasons we drove the two hours to Quartzite (and called in advance). Sweetest lady and super fun collection. I had my kids each take a picture with the bubble gum display case of their birthday year. One of our favorite stops that day!

Cool bubble gum.

Joanne's Gum Gallery Museum

With no notice, Joanne welcomed us to her museum when we called. She showed us the collection, allowed us to browse at our own pace, and shared bits of history. This collection began with her sister in World War II and is still growing. She has done a wonderful job curating the displays, which were made by her son and now deceased husband. She has arranged them, for the most part, by year, which makes these little time capsules much more interesting.

Joanne's Gum Gallery

Joanne's Gallery is a very unique and interesting place to visit. She has been collecting gum (in the wrapper) since the 1940s, and continues to collect today. The wrappers are very nicely displayed in chronological order in a small pink building behind her home. You must call before going to make sure she is there to open up for you. The number is: 928-927-7566.

Joanne will tell you as much as you want to know about the various types of gum in the collection. She even has many from outside the U.S., and will accept donations of old wrappers if you have any to send her.
