Statue of a nightmare deep sea fish swam next to the river in the Convention Center park. The title is apparently "Nemo on Wheaties."
West side of Harbor Island Blvd., was near the water.

Fish sculpture. Nemo on Steroids

An evil looking fish is located next to the river at the Tampa Convention Center. It's just a short walk from the aquarium and cruise boats docks.

March 2012: Dr. R. Bossard writes to correct our speculation: "This sculpture is not representing a piranha, but a deep-sea fish, such as an anglerfish. The rod on the nose is a luminescent organ."
