Directions:: Laurel Caverns Geological Park. US 40 three miles east of Uniontown. At the crest of Summit Mountain (look for the Summit Inn) turn right (south) onto Skyline Drive. You'll still have five miles to go; follow the Laurel Caverns signs.

Laurel Caverns

Laurel Caverns seems to be morphing into a "everything in one place" single attraction (vs. a "everything in one place" mecca town like Piegon Forge and Wisconsin Dells). In addition to the miniture golf course (inside the cave) previously submitted by another roadsideamerica.com surfer I have found that while inside the cave the guides give a demonstration of "cave gravity." A ball is place in a gutter where it appears to roll uphill! A combination cave, mini golf, and mystery spot all in one? [Greg Brown, 02/10/2001]
