We stopped by on our way west and we're super pumped on this hot dog. It's all we talked about for an hour. Sadly, this restaurant went out of business. We were able to see the hot dog through the window, but I doubt it will be there much longer.

We were looking for the T-Rex with the Hot Dog on Jefferson Highway before I read that it was gone. Apparently in its place is a large, reclining hot dog in a bun pouring mustard on his head.

We're sad to say that the giant T-Rex is no longer at The Boardwalk Cafe. We had lots of folks who stopped by to see him, so we'll be sure to send an update if we acquire something else that might be RoadsideAmerica-worthy!

The hot dog is back. After being reported knocked out in a storm, the hot dog had returned to its rightful place in the dinosaur's mouth by October. We also stopped inside for some hot dogs ourselves. I got the Elvis, with peanut butter, banana and bacon and then got our pictures on the wall.
