Sandia Peak Tramway is the world's longest aerial tramway, at 2.7 miles with a 10,378 foot elevation at the top of the tram. Go up to Sandia Peak and see 11,000 square miles. It can be much colder and windier at the top from the bottom. Take a heavier jacket than you need at the base that day.
