El Reno, Oklahoma - Two-sided giant man statue We too saw the two-sided giant man mentioned in
vague recollections. It was off old route 66 near El Reno. It
looked like a restaurant relic (abandoned building nearby). One
side was dressed like a farmer and the other side like a maitre de
(not a vampire as the other person recalled), but almost as spooky,
as it is very desolate in the area otherwise and the statue is
rather severe, with a hands on hips pose. It is about 9 or 10 feet
tall.

Address: El Reno, OK
Directions: Get off onto old route 66 outside of Oklahoma City
traveling West. It was near an entrance back onto i-40--possibly
along the little stretch of road between exit 123 of i-40 and old
route 66.
El Reno, Oklahoma - Two-sided Vampire - Vague Recollections While traveling west on I-40 a few miles out of Oklahoma City in December,
1995, my brother and I stopped for breakfast at a coffee shop/restaurant
called The Kettle. When we were leaving to get back on the interstate we
saw a strange figure by the side of the road -- looked like it was made out of
fiberglass, and maybe 6 to 8 feet tall -- it was a two-sided "creature" that
on
one side looked like a vampire and on the other side...well, we don't
remember. It was cold and rainy and we were sleepy and thought maybe we
were imagining the whole thing, but we both remember it to this day and
curse ourselves for not stopping to take a photo. Has anyone seen this
thing? It haunts us...
