[Jennifer, 02/17/2015]Jacksonville is very well known for having great tasting tomatoes during the growing season. Now it seems the townspeople have decided to decorate their town with concrete tomatoes, some red, some painted different colors, some with the name of the businesses. They are located all over the city of Jacksonville. Just a fun thing to drive around and see how many you can find.

Jacksonville, "Home of World Famous Tomatoes," has held an annual summer Tomato Fest for three decades. The 2012 "Concrete Tomatoes" community art project found businesses to sponsor and decorate 665 lb. concrete tomato sculptures.
