Roadside dinosaur comedy explores recurring motifs, no matter where you go. If there's a Tyrannosaurus statue with a gaping, toothy maw, there's a good chance a partially devoured mannequin will be hanging from it.
Though Dinosaur Canyon Golf is part of a mini-golf chain, it interprets that scene with some welcome tension -- the anticipated meal. In among its prehistoric putting hazards, leviathan rib walkway, and fake volcano, is a T-Rex. On the steep side of the volcano a tourist dummy clambers up. Will he be eaten? Or get away?
