Silo X - Open again

Silo-X has once again re-opened under new ownership. Owned by a local company, they have put major money into bringing it back to the horror it once was.

[Tyger Roth, 06/27/2004]

According to Silo X: "A top-secret government cover-up led to disaster as an army base known only as 'Silo-X' was exposed to a toxic green gas. The green gas was a secret biological weapon being developed...Now the base is overrun with mutated flesh eating zombies, toxic gases, hideous monsters, bombed out buildings and even 10,000 volts of electric surges flying right at you." New attraction added: Forest of the Dead. The new owners, Halloween Productions, also created the Darkness haunted house and Tombstone Haunted Ghost Town in St. Louis.

Silo X - moved?

Silo X has been removed for construction. I suspect it has moved elsewhere but do not know.

[Manuel, 04/06/2001]

Silo X, built in 1992 as the first of a national chain, is an elaborate Halloween-season Vietnam War-Hell attraction west of St. Louis.
