Night of the Living Dead Cemetery

Gary Streiner (sound technician on the original 1968 movie) kept the old chapel at the top of the hill from being torn down. Redone in 2012, in movie.

Evans City Cemetery.

Night of the Living Dead Cemetery

As we were cruising down the road, we happened upon the cemetery where the original Night of the Living Dead was filmed. It's located on a winding road just in Evans City. Atop the hill the cemetery sits where it was founded in 1891. As you wind through the gravel roads between graves you can't help but get an eerie feeling that the rich history and characters could really be "coming to get you Barbara."

Blair grave.

Night of the Living Dead Cemetery

In the movie, Barbara and Johnny are actually visiting the grave to the right of the "Blair" stone. It is marked "Cole." The "Nicholas Kramer" stone which Barbara clings to is the tall, white one off to the left. It has other names on it as well.
