Wichita, Kansas: The Troll
- Underneath a large grate along a walking path behind and just to the right of the old Westar power plant building, which is on the south side of W. Central Ave. on the east bank of the Arkansas River. Park in the lot behind the building, then walk to the right and you'll see the path and the big grate in it. The path is part of a larger system with its own cross-river bridges, so you can park in other places and simply walk over to the Troll.
- Out for repairs, should be back by March 2014.

Visitor Tips and News About The Troll
A little difficult to find, as there are no signs pointing to the Troll, or even signs at the grate telling you to look down. Best way to find him: follow the river path from the Keeper of the Plains Indian statue south toward the War Memorial. About halfway you will either walk over a grate or see a padlocked gate in a grotto-like area, depending on the path you take.[Randall Sharp, 10/16/2012]
