Peter Toth has made at least one monument to the Native Americans in each state. His Kansas monument is on the south courthouse lawn in Troy. Abraham Lincoln visited Troy in December of 1859, the farthest west that he ever traveled. You can visit the Tennent-Baker house on the northeast corner of the square.

Council Bluffs, Iowa, which is farther west than Troy, has a monument where it claims that Lincoln once stood -- another stop on the same Western trip that took him to Kansas.
