A new-agey shop is in the original house of an unusual lady who painted on spiderwebs. It has at least a replica of the cedar-lined closet where she did her painting, with a video and photographs of her paintings on the walls. The originals are in one of the major museums in the area -- the Burritt -- but are not necessarily on display all the time because of deterioration. This may be the best place to see them.

Anne Bradshaw Clopton was a Huntsville native with an unusual talent: painting detailed miniatures on spider webs. The closet where she worked for over 50 years has been restored by the current owners of her house, now a New Age store. The closet features a video about Anne as well as photographs of some of her paintings, which are too delicate to display.
