- The T rex stands outside the Boston Museum of Science. I-93 north to Exit 26 (Storrow Drive). As you exit the tunnel, stay left for Leverett Circle/28N. Continue staying left for 28N and proceed through the Leverett traffic lights and onto 28N, the O'Brien Highway. The Boston Museum of Science will on your left. The dinosaur stands at its left end.

This statue used to be kind of the centerpiece of the Boston Museum of Science. As science progressed, this particular portrayal of T. Rex was no longer viewed as scientifically accurate, so it was moved outside to make room for more up-to-date exhibits, and to give visitors something to look at while waiting in line. I think it's a nice alternative to having the statue destroyed.
