Mepkin Abbey Tree Carvings
The Mepkin Abbey Tree Carvings. Under a big oak near the cross, I paused to write in my journal.
[Lisa, 06/11/2016]While exploring the Abbey, I came across a box by a huge oak tree, hidden slightly in the ground, with a journal inside it. I saw that many people from all over had discovered the book and wrote various messages in the journal. It seems, too, that the owner of the journal makes various trips there to update and talk to all who find this hidden book. Go explore there and see if you can find it for yourself. I will give you a tip: it is over in the area by the huge cross, behind the iron gate. It's a special hidden secret there on the grounds of the Abbey.
