- West side of town. From Hwy 8/W. Sunflower Rd, turn south at the main entrance onto the campus of Delta State University. You'll see a large building straight ahead, at the far end of the long, grassy campus quad. That's the H.L. Nowell Student Union, where you can purchase Fighting Okra regalia at the Jimmy R. Williams Bookstore.
