Drove out there today. The Muffler Man now holds a larger pole in his hands than previously documented.[Daisy, 01/13/2012]
The Muffler Man on 33125 IH 10 W has moved and been given a new suit. He's now wearing the uniform of the Jennings Anderson Ford sales staff, and resides at 31480 IH 10 West (just south of his original location, on the westbound side of the highway).[Cerebus, 07/03/2010]
Finally took the time to drive out to this one to get some pics. The business that the figure is in front of appears to be out of business. It was an auto repair center, but their lot was empty, and there was a large For Sale banner on the main building.
I'll try to contact the real estate company (number was on the For Sale sign) and see if they will tell me anything about the figure, especially if it is being sold separately (and thus maybe moving) or as part of the package deal for the shop.[TexasAndroid, 05/25/2007]
Muffler man currently in front of automobile accessories shop. His hands, held out in front of body, are used to hold the cable holding up the sign for the business.[Tony Miller, 07/04/2006]
From the scant description, this seems to be a sighting of a another M-Man in San Antonio -- not the Big Indian at McComb's... May 2007: TexasAndroid "managed to find this one on Live Local satelite map service. Definitely not the Red McCombs Indian."
