Allentown, Pennsylvania - Journey to the Center of the Earth - Vague Recollections

My parents would take us to Dorney Park in Allentown, PA, every summer, and my favorite attraction there was the Journey to the Center of the Earth ride, a cheesy log flume that took you through some caves with trolls and stuff, then dropped you off.

They tore it down maybe six or seven years ago, and it broke my heart. There used to be this gigantic fiberglass dragon or dinosaur thing on top of the ride, and for me, that fiberglass monster WAS Dorney Park. [David J. Jones, 09/06/1999]
