Rose Ferron, stigmatic, wore the visible wounds of Christ including the crown of thorns for the last ten years of her life. She is the USA's only stigmatic. She is buried in Precious Blood Cemetery. Please note: everything is written in French, including her gravestone. Until a generation or two ago, this was a French-speaking community.
In the Ukranian orthodox church she has been glorified, which is the first step to becoming a saint. There is a shrine to her in Taylor, Michigan.

Even though Rose Ferron's gravestone is in French, English-only visitors can still see that she was a "Stigmatisee" and a "Victime de Son Jesus." The stone's engraved Crown of Thorns is a visual bonus.
