Winnie the Witch
In October 2023, on Halloween day, the full refurbishment to Winnie the Witch was completed and she was unveiled to her community. She has been brought back to her ghoulish glory and now has an internal structure made of steel to ensure that she is there to stay for many years to come. Locals Victoria Johnston and Kenny Maher want to thank everyone that helped to save our beloved witch, and thank all that donated time and/or money to the Save the Witch fundraiser. We hope that she brings you as much joy as she brings to us!

A 30-foot hag looms over a busy suburban thoroughfare. She's been there year-round since the 1970s! On North Country Road in St. James at Wicks Farm & Garden.

Winnie the Witch is a local landmark since 1976, a large scrap wood and metal decoration for the Halloween pumpkin-picking season that never went away (once an old Winnie falls apart, a new one is constructed).
