Louisville, Kentucky - Lynn's Paradise Cafe - Big Pot I loved the giant kettle and cups out front. I was bummed the water wasn't flowing, but it was well below freezing that day. There's interesting stuff everywhere, and a neat gift shop. They have all sorts of bizarre gifts (e.g. meat band-aids, meat curtains for your shower, and a cat sling-shot, to name a few). Louisville, Kentucky - Big Coffee Pot - Lynn's Paradise Cafe We just got home from our family trip and stopped at several places. The Big Coffee Pot was one of them. The pot was very cool, but we were very surprised to find that Lynn's Paradise Cafe was so unique. It entertained us while we waited for a seat to eat. A horse with toast coming out of it, a blue cow, red cat, Fork and Spoon along with a waffle and pancake to put your face through and take photos.
The food was great, and the coffee, well, big. [Mark Richards, 08/02/2007]
Louisville, Kentucky - Big Coffee Pot - Lynn's Paradise Cafe Lynn's Paradise Cafe let us know about the big coffee pot in front of their restaurant. While it doesn't tower over the interstate, the 8-ft. tall, bright red pot is at ground level and features a companion coffee cup, so it's an easy photo op (Family with heads in cup: "AAIEEE! We've been HORRIBLY SCALDED!"). The pot, built by the Cafe staff in 1994, operates as a fountain, pouring tap temperature water into the cup.
The cafe serves breakfast, brunch, promotes an all-u-can eat spaghetti night, and is decorated with zany junk. [Roadsideamerica.com Team, 02/23/2005]
