We spit cherry pit! Not Olympic qualifier, but respectable 16 feet!
[RoamingRileys, 08/31/2017]Pete [the cherry pit spitter] was really loud, but didn't have great range. The free pits were nice and allowed for some practice opportunities, but I kinda wanted to eat cherries rather than spitting pre-pitted ones that someone else enjoyed. It's hard to tell which pit you spit, so it's a good idea to have a friend stand in the arena to observe and mark distances.

An Olympic size cherry spitting pit is popular in this part of the country. It's at Cherry Republic, which has done a super job of everything cherries. Lots of spirit and lots of free samples. The cherry spitting pit is on the side of the cafe. Go for it!
