Just off of I-75 near the Atlanta Airport in Hapeville. The Muffler Man is still looking good.
Few things brighten a traveler's soul like a freshly cleaned, brightly painted Muffler Man.
Muffler Man - Old Blue Eyes
Nicely painted, yes -- but why did they paint his entire eyes blue? This guy is easy enough to find.
The muffler man in front of Boyd Tire Co. is alive and well. He is in beautiful shape with a great paint job. He is 5 minutes from Hartsfield Jackson Airport. I took a taxi to get there. It was about $15.00. He is worth the trip.

You already have this muffler man in your database, but he's been painted since your 1997 photo, and it seems you only have a thumbnail of him. Too bad it was raining, but here's a decent size picture.

I would just like to say that....YES, there IS a Muffler Man alive and well in E.Point. I grew up in that area. The road he's on used to be a busy road that entered into the "old" Hartfield Airport (ATL). The road is less traveled now, but he's still live and kicking. He holds a tire in his hand. I believe it's Butler Tire Co.
