Muffler Man The muffler man in front of Boyd Tire Co. is alive and well. He is in beautiful shape with a great paint job. He is 5 minutes from Hartsfield Jackson Airport. I took a taxi to get there. It was about $15.00. He is worth the trip. [Marc Roland, 11/05/2007]

Muffler Man I would just like to say that....YES, there IS a Muffler Man
alive and well in E.Point. I grew up in that area. The road he's on used to
be a busy road that entered into the "old" Hartfield Airport (ATL). The road
is less traveled now, but he's still live and kicking. He holds a tire in his
hand. I believe it's Butler Tire Co. [michele, 08/04/2001]
Muffler Man with Prosthetics Atlanta's own muffler man, though I
suppose from the looks of him, he's masquerading as a Paul Bunyan with
some sort of prosthetic device to help him hold up that tire. He can be
found outside a tire(!) store near the airport, just off I-85. If you
look closely enough, his head is actually visible from the highway,
peering out between the overpasses and overseeing the many fenderbenders
