It's back! I wanted to update that the chair is still in town, but it has moved. I visited it in August of this year. It sits on the property of a bank.
[Ron Dwan, 01/02/2021]Sadly the store is closed and the chair is gone. But the town is full of little gems. Moose and tiger statues everywhere, a shark on top of a fish fry restaurant, half cars coming out of the side of buildings...interesting little place.
[Ginger Cameron, 06/24/2018]The World's Largest Ladderback Chair will be auctioned off on March 17, 2018. A local media outlet is raising funds to buy and keep it in Bennington. The GoFundMe page is at gofundme.com/SaveTheBigChair
[Jeffrey Grimshaw, 02/27/2018]The chair was sold to a local bank, which has promised to keep it in Bennington.
