Powerhouse #2 at the Bonneville Dam is the only place in America where you can stand on a live generator as part of a public tour. It doubled as an evil laboratory in America's favorite robot comedy of 1986.

- Hwy 14 milepost 39 (about six miles west of Stevenson). Turn south onto Dam Access Rd by the large Bonneville Lock and Dam entrance sign. Turn left at the stop sign and drive west one mile to the entrance gate. The glass Visitor Center is at the end of the powerhouse.
