The Original American Kazoo Company and Museum
At the Original American Kazoo Company, you get to make your own kazoo!
[Marc, 04/20/2011]I had the pleasure of visiting this museum and it is hysterical. This is the actual place where the "kazoo' was born. They have a really nice display of "kazoos" and other instruments as well as a gift shop. The "curator" also gives a very nice talk about kazoos and how they came to be invented. Definitely worth a visit to wile away an afternoon or an hour or two.
[Fran, 04/23/2009]Manufacture of the metal kazoo began in 1916 in Eden, NY, and continues to this day. It is a very quaint old facility with a gift shop and tours of the plant.
I was born in Eden in 1934 and often return, sometime with a grandchild who will get to tour the Kazoo Factory.
Only about 40 miles south of Niagara Falls, so it isn't far from major tourist attractions.
