Levi Ponce's brand new mural with Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, JP The Big Bopper Richardson, Roger Peterson is masterfully painted at 13433 Van Nuys Rd next to the burger joint. A plethora of paintings. But this one tugs at our heart. Valens went to high school there.

The music died in a corn field near Clear Lake, Iowa on Feb. 3, 1959 after Valens, the Big Bopper and Holly performed at the Surf Ballroom.
