Proving that no idea is impossible, volunteers in Dexter built an ocean-theme library with a 25-foot-tall working lighthouse far from any ocean.

Lighthouse Library
It's a library with an ocean theme. Has a 25-foot-tall working lighthouse in the courtyard, and a huge saltwater aquarium inside. There is a public deck available for cookouts and picnics for travelers. Thrift shop on site (Treasure Chest) and a cabin (Grouse Valley Lodge). Proceeds go to the library. This project was built by volunteers in part as a memorial tribute to a teen who died in an auto accident.
