Texarkana, Texas - Muffler Man Sighting There is one of the original muffler men on the Houston Loop in Texarkana. I
have admired him for years, showing him to my sons whenever we drove by there. Over the years his hardhat has changed colors (yellow to red) and his shirt also.
Drove by today -- he is at a company that is either a trucking or construction company overlooking the loop. He has a beard, and his hands are in the original position. [Tracy Mays, 08/08/2001]
