We admire the self-confidence of this attraction. You could probably see three states from the ground, but an observation platform enables you to see clear to Iowa. Or so you're told.

Surely Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri can be seen from this site, but Iowa is a ways north, and I thought it was too far away to see, even from a high point such as the one in White Cloud. Nevertheless, this view is free, and still billed itself as "See Four States" when I was last there. The friend I was with said he'd been there many times, and that Iowa is definitely one of the states you see from there. [Don Fraysier, 08/27/2001]
