My grandfather, Herb Schwartz, took the photo on the marker. It appeared on newspaper front pages across the country. Mom and I visited ca 2005 and got the whole story from the Fellers. I have what seems to be the original negative.
[Mark Mittelstadt, 10/05/2023]I visited this on June 13, 2020, and the Bonnie and Clyde marker has been removed. The only thing there now is the second marker about Dexfield Park.

We spoke with the director of the local museum, who said that the Bonnie and Clyde marker had slipped on its base, and was removed for repairs and reinforcement so it wouldn't slip again. By early July it was back up, good as new.
