Duchesne, Utah: Veterans Memorial, Navy WAVE

The Duchesne County veterans memorial was dedicated in 2014. There are three sculptures, including a saluting woman WAVE officer. A wall lists names of county veterans as far back as the Civil War.

Memorial to all wars and all services for what we assumed were local soldiers KIA.

Artist Jerry Anderson sculpted three bronze pieces: a soldier mourning a pair of his comrade's empty boots, an eagle on a bell, and a Navy WAVE officer saluting.
