Otis Redding Statue

I found out that the Otis Redding statue will eventually be placed at the Redding Foundation Building currently under construction. The building is expected to be completed by 2027. The statue is owned by his heirs, not the city of Macon.

My advice is to pay close attention to your surroundings. This attraction is not the safest area.

It was sad that there was no sign or acknowledgement of this being Otis Redding. The area was very run down.
