Roadside Grave of Hambletonian
The Great Progenitor of Trotters: A hidden treasure.
[Kathie, 05/12/2021]Monument (shaped like Washington Memorial Monument in DC) about 12 ft high, surrounded by a 2 ft. high wrought iron fence. Located in middle of village on Hambletonian Ave. between two private houses. Monument is grave marker for famed trotter horse "Hambletonian." Definitely off the beaten path, site only known by locals and perhaps a few Hambletonian fans.
