Huge Conch Shell

While visiting Key West this summer I turned to Roadside America for interesting places to visit. I accidentally stumbled upon this huge conch shell. The shell is located in the Key West High School parking lot.

[Frank Noti, 08/15/2014]

The shell was welded (it's metal) in 1987 by students. The high school's sports teams call themselves "The Fighting Conchs."
