The Weeping Angel
Plenty of people have left tokens on the statue. I recommend bringing something small to leave. The cemetery is beautiful -- a nice, refreshing walk if you don't mind being surrounded by dead people.
The gates now close at 5:30.

[Emory, 09/12/2020]The actual name of the sculpture is "Angel of Death Victorious" by Herman Matzen. She can be found up the hill from where sections 2 and 3 meet.

At Lakeview Cemetery, the Francis Haserot family monument features this striking sculpture of a seated bronze angel holding a down-turned torch, its face marked with black moisture stains from an other-worldly crying jag. Sculpted in 1924.
