Danish Theme Town My first time there. It was a very nice trip to Denmark in America. I have been to Helen, Georgia, which is done up the same way, except it is a Bavarian-style village. I liked Solvang much better. More to do there. [Peter De Jesse, 03/26/2010]
Danish Theme Town - Vikings on Motorcycles Been visiting Solvang a few times this year. Motels have windmills,
shoe stores have wooden shoes and they have the greatest Danish pastries and baked goods
in California (every time we go on highway 101 we stop for that). The town has a merry
go round and a motorcycle museum and lots of shops selling everything and anything that
is Danish. Near the last weekend of September, the town has "Danish Days" with parades,
