In January 1993 a young Johnny Depp left his footprint, Hollywood-style, in the cement sidewalk in front of the grocery store where he worked in the film, "What's Eating Gilbert Grape."

There is a shoe impression made by Johnny Depp in 1993 while he was in town filming "What's Eating Gilbert Grape."

The footprint is in the cement sidewalk in front of the downtown grocery store where Gilbert worked in the film, along with the film title, a date, and initials that look like "J.P." It wasn't until twelve years later that Depp officially cement-ified his footprints in front of the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. August 2017: Photo added.
