Giant Rocking Chair My girlfriend and I visited the giant chair today, it is still there but it seems to have suffered some damage over the last few years as you can see. Unfortunately there was a sign that said "Do not Climb" on it and the store was open so we had to admire it from the ground.

Giant Rocking Chair The large rocking chair "Roger" mentions in Biloxi Beach, MS is no more. When I asked a hotel keeper about it, she gave me a look like I was off my rocker.
Not to worry though. I later discovered a chair in Hattiesburg that would de-thrown the other with its immense size. I would guess it has to be close to 30-feet high. The dowels are the size of telephone poles and one seat slat was bigger than all 5'7" of me. Ironically, the chair had no real rockers for feet.
