Fillmore, the mellow VW hippie van from the film Cars, has been recreated by a fan on a private home's front lawn.

- I-39 exit 136 (Plainfield). Drive west on Hwy 73 for 10.5 miles. Turn right onto County Hwy U/80th St. Drive north a little over four miles. You'll see the hippie van on the right.

Unfortunately, Fillmore is no longer around. Drove out to see him and any possible buddies, but they were nowhere to be seen.

A 1960s VW bus has been painted to resemble "Fillmore" the hippie from the movie Cars. Occasionally "Sarge" the jeep is beside it. It is on a homeowner's property, and I'm sure they would appreciate that you respect their property. They have never said anything to me when I stop to take pictures. There is easy parking along the shoulder of the road at the end of their driveway.
