When I was around five years old, I went on a family vacation to Disneyworld in Florida. I am 26 yrs old now, but I vaguely remember seeing a sign for a tourist trap called the Batcave somewhere on my way to Orlando. I cried and cried for hours, but Dad just wouldn't stop. I am still traumatized by this event. Do you have any information on this now likely defunct attraction?

Tipster Bob Cara suggests: The BATCAVE on the way to Orlando that Darren Hastings may be referring to was possibly OCALA CAVERNS. It is now defunct and has been for years, although you can still see the mouth of the (phony) cave among the weeds and assorted junk if you look. It was on US 441-301-27 8 miles south of Ocala. My 1965 edition of the "Florida Guidebook" lists it thusly:
