California's Loneliest Spanish Mission
Mission San Antonio was closed, and rather hard to see past the gate. Looks like they are in need of some serious roof repair, as the building has a big blue tarp over much of it and there are signs promoting an upcoming fundraiser BBQ and to "give generously for the retrofit project." Catch you next time San Antonio, a lonely place indeed! There is a nifty looking Hearst Hacienda Lodge on the adjoining military reserve, have to check that out instead.
