World's Largest Small Electric Appliance Museum

The entrance is in the J.R.'s Western clothes store. It's not marked at all, but ask the clerk. They'll open it up and turn on lights for you. It's an amazing place!

World's Largest Small Electric Appliance Museum

One man's epic collection of small electric appliances, available for viewing at no charge during business hours. Richard Larrison has 7,000+ small electric appliances, including percolator coffee pots, waffle irons, hot plates, blenders, mixers, razors, hair dryers, popcorn poppers, and fans, all in a clean, well organized space. We had a blast walking through by ourselves, but when the owner popped in to "talk toast" and show off some of his favorites, it was even better.

Keep an eye out for the "hot dog electrocuter" -- our favorite! Also, the numerous award ribbons from competitive toaster exhibitions are pretty entertaining in themselves. Call ahead if you want to schedule a tour with Richard, who made this interesting stop absolutely fascinating!

The hot dog electrocuter can fry five wieners at once, and is inscribed, "Electrocuted Hot Dogs Are Delicious."
