Tributes to Blinky, Town Alligator

I am not sure when it happened, but when I moved to Lakeland, Florida the Autumn of 2017, Blinky was no longer in Barnet Park.

Blinky the gator.

Traditional Blinky is in Barnett Family Park. If you look closely, you can see the statue only has one eye.

Mech gator.

Tributes to Blinky, Town Alligator

Very neat sculpture made from mechanical bits and pieces. Great photo op for the kids (but some sharp rusty edges). Blinky is next to the Lakeland Amtrak station.

Artistic tribute to the town's beloved one-eyed alligator, also commemorated with a traditional statue.
