A trove of taxidermy, including Count Noble the dog, who died in 1890. Statues of famous hunting dogs, and a showcase displaying the hats of their owners. Outdoor "Walk of Champions" has statues of famous dogs.

Directions:
Four miles north of the Mississippi state line. From Hwy 18 turn east onto Hwy 57 (Bank of Fayette County on corner). Drive about a mile on Hwy 57. You'll see the museum on the right.
Hours:
Tu-F 9-2, Sa 10-4, Su 1-4. Gated after hours. (Call to verify) Local health policies may affect hours and access.

National Bird Dog Museum

A unique little museum. It has a great collection of creepy taxidermy. Most notable artifact in the collection is "Count Noble," a taxidermied bird dog that died in 1890.
